Description: Under the railway bridge to pick up the Taff Trail to Nantgarw then join Route 4 through Caerphilly, Bedwas, Lower Machen and Draethen where we leave Route 4 and aim for Rudry. Turn left immediately before the Maenllwyd pub then after a very short distance, right along a private road. Roger's house is first on the right.

Suitable for road bikes. Much of the route is free of traffic. Mostly flat and no steep hills. Last mile is uphill.
